Introduction and Polonaise brillante in C major, Op. 3

Polonaises

Chopin composed around 23 polonaises all through his life. His most renowned models are the Military’ Polonaise in A, ‘Brave’ or ‘Drum’ Polonaise in A level. Like quite a bit of Chopin’s music, the greater part of the pieces are composed for solo piano, yet the Andante spianato et grande polonaise brillante is a symphonic piece.
